Neighborhood information

To the left of Passeig de Gràcia extends the other side of L'Eixample, which was constructed at the beginning of the 20th Century. Close to many universities such as the Universitat de Barcelona, Eixample has a young and diverse population. You can find them frequently at Las Arenas, the city’s newest shopping mall with a great view of the skyline. The neighborhood is also home to many middle-class families. And for a different kind of shopping, you can go to the Mercat de Sant Antoni, which is Barcelona’s oldest market.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment has been recently renovated and has modern floor tiles throughout, making cleaning easy.
  • There is a spacious open plan kitchen/living area, which is bright and sunny with two large windows overlooking the street.
  • There is a sofa bed in the living area for hosting visiting friends or family.
  • The bedroom has a huge built-in wardrobe.

Things to keep in mind

  • The bedroom is interior but has a window overlooking a light well, and being on the fifth floor it receives plenty of natural light.
