The owner has done a great job in creating a comfortable and very pleasant home. Situated in Magallanes street in the neighborhood of Poble-Sec, a tranquil area within the district of Sants. This area has the advantage of having remained virtually untouched by tourists while being located within walking distance from the hustle and bustle. This apartment is exterior and has a total floor area of 65 sqm.

This apartment is located on the second of a building which does not have an elevator. It has central air-conditioning, central heating and electrical water heating. The price of rent includes an usage of up to 120€ of utilities (water, electricity, heating and WiFi), bed linen, towels and a weekly cleaning service which includes sheet and towel exchange. Neighborhood information

Sants is known as an industrial neighborhood where the Catalan textile industry revolutionized Sants from its agricultural roots.You can now visit the "La España Industrial" park or visit the old Vapor Vell factory (now a public library), among other buildings representative of the time. If you leave Plaza Espanya and take the Sants road you can pass through one of the city's most important commercial streets, with 4 kilometers of road containing 500 businesses next to each other that form the longest commercial street in Europe. August 24th is an important date in the neighborhood, which is the Festa Major. They close off streets and are filled instead with concerts, open-air activities, sardanas (the typical Catalan dance) habañeras, chocolatadas, or butifarradas (butifarra is a typical Catalan sausage).

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is very well designed, with the beautiful open plan kitchen and living area in the center and the bedrooms located at each side.
  • In the living area you will find a large sofa, a coffee table, a dining table and a big flat screen TV, making the room an ideal space to spend quality time with your roommates or have friends over.
  • Bedroom 2 has bunk beds, perfect for children or friends travelling together.
  • The apartment is bright and sunny, with plenty of windows and high ceilings. It is also decorated in tones of white, creating a calm and pleasant atmosphere.

Things to keep in mind

  • Bedroom 2 is interior but has a window overlooking a light well. The living area and bedroom 1 are exterior and have windows overlooking the street.
