The apartment is very modern, it is even has its own elevator that can be accessed through the living room. The decor is very beautiful, giving the flat a very sophisticated look and feel. Off of the living room is a balcony that opens up to the street that lets in natural light. There is A/C to keep cool in those hot Barcelona summers and two floors to allow for more privacy and space. The area of the apartment is 65m2.

Neighborhood information

El Born: This neighborhood has a mixture of historical sites and a trendy scene day and night. Santa Maria del Mar, one of the city’s most beautiful churches that was built thanks to the area’s businessmen and residences, is a must visit. On the Carrer Montcada, you’ll find the Picasso Museum, Barbier-Müller, and Palau Dalmases. If you need to get away from it all, you can relax in the gorgeous Ciutadella park. In addition to having plenty to satisfy your appetite during the day (including eating through Mercat de El Born!), thousands of bars and restaurants open their doors each night to the city’s cosmopolitan and alternative scenes.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is located right in the city buzz and close to plenty of metro stations - you will have easy access to other parts of Barcelona.
  • You will also be located just a short bus ride from the beach!
  • All utilities are included in the rental price.
  • The elevator is accessible through the apartment.
  • Air conditioning is also available, to ensure you will be kept cool during hot summer days.
  • The apartment has been renovated and has exposed brick, making it very modern in a trendy neighborhood.

Things to keep in mind

  • Bedroom 1 and 3 do not have private walls to separate from the rest of the living space, however modifications will take place to add walls to these bedrooms.
  • The kitchen does not have a dishwasher, however the apartment has a dryer an added amenity that most flats in Barcelona do not have.
