This is a lovely room for rent in a shared apartment located just outside of Barcelona's city center. The property is brightly decorated and has lots of natural light entering into both the kitchen and the living room, which has a flat-screen TV. You will enjoy both the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the apartment and your room as well as the surrounding neighborhood itself. There is also a separate room next to the kitchen for the washing machine and a balcony where you can sit outside and enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea.
Nou Barris is an excellent neighborhood to live in if you are looking for a quiet area but still want to experience the best that Barcelona has to offer. There are plenty of shops, supermarkets, cafés, bars and restaurants where you can find the necessities and also try new things, like authentic Catalan tapas.
Located in the northeast Barcelona, there is a strong sense of community, plenty of parks to visit and many opportunities to go hiking in the nearby mountains. For fresh seafood and authentic rice dishes, head on over to Casa Angelita to enjoy some delicious Catalan cuisine with the locals.

Your collection of quiet, down-to-earth neighbourhoods
Nou Barris combines the best of Barcelona with a small-town twist.
“Nou Barris” means “9 Neighbourhoods”. It’s a peaceful area on the edge of Barcelona. The community spirit is strong here.
You can enjoy authentic bars and restaurants, lots of parks and breathtaking views.
Looking for local charm?
Come to Nou Barris.
What can I do here?
Practice your Catalan with the locals. Tu dius adéu, i jo dic hola!
Sample the vermouth and tapas at as many bars as you can. (Not all at the same time, please.) Try the tapas at Taberna Andaluza Dunia. It’s small, it’s busy, it’s on Carrer de Baltasar Gracián. The mussels are good. Dunk that bread, sir.
Climb up to the castle of Torre Baró. It’s in the Collserola mountains. Take in the stunning views of city and sea. Cool off in Llac de Can Dragó – an enormous outdoor pool. Fresh.
Relax in one of Nou Barris’s many parks.
Despite the name, Nou Barris is made up of 13 neighbourhoods, not 9. Inflation.
