You and another tenant share one bathroom. The landlady gets another. The living room is comfy and complete with L-shaped sofa and big flat screen TV. Turn on the AC in the hot summer months.

We think this apartment would be great for someone who would love to soak up a bit of natural vitamin D without leaving home. When you want to meet up with friends, you're about a 30 minute ride from the beach.

This is a 3-bedroom apartment with a live-in landlady on Carrer de Felip II, Barcelona. Catch up on some TV from the comfort of an air-conditioned living room.

It is perfect for people who like a year-round tan without leaving their doorstep. If you do want to venture outside, the beach is only about a half hour away.

What we liked the most

  • Taking in all the sunshine coming in the apartment.
  • Getting in and out of the bathroom quickly in the mornings. You'll only be sharing with one other person.
  • Hitting the waves at the beach within less than 40-minutes by public transport – gnarly.

Things to keep in mind

  • The kitchen is a little small. You still get an oven.
  • Bedroom 1 has changed since our runner visited the property. Please, check the pictures.
