This four-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment is located on Carrer d’Aragó in the L’Eixample Esquerra section of Barcelona. L’Eixample Esquerra is the more middle-class section of Barcelona, ideal for students of the UB (Universitat de Barcelona) and other universities and others looking to take advantage of the proximity to nightlife, the center of Barcelona, and other sites of note in the neighborhood itself. The neighborhood, like all of L’Eixample, is known for its octagonal city blocks, making this area of Barcelona incredibly unique for this architectural innovation. The area of the apartment is 90 m2.
The apartment is a seven-minute walk from the Rocafort Metro stop (TMB L1-Línia 1), an eight-minute walk from the Tarragona Metro stop (TMB L3-Línia 3), and a seven-minute walk from the Entença Metro stop (TMB L5-Línia 5). It’s also a 12-minute walk from the Barcelona Sants RENFE (including AVE and Rodalies). There are also numerous bus lines accessible from the apartment: H-10, 41, 50, 9, V-7.
Restrictions: This property is only for Students
To the left of Passeig de Gràcia extends the other side of L'Eixample, which was constructed at the beginning of the 20th Century. Many middle-class Catalans and students from the Universitat de Barcelona (or UB) or the Escola Industrial, among others, take advantage of the area's proximity to their campuses, the nightlife, and the center of Barcelona in order to enjoy the city. At the other end of the area is Las Arenas the city's newest shopping mall with an overlook that lets you peek at Barcelona's skyline. You'll also find Antaño, an old bullring with over 100 years of history. Between these two points you'll find the "Gayfriendly" zone, or as residents call "Gaixample": stores, businesses, and various organizations make it one of the city's most authentic neighborhoods. In the lower part of the area you'll find the Mercat de Sant Antoni, the city's oldest and that is currently under renovation. On Sunday mornings you can walk through antique books, records, or you can even exchange trading cards.
