The ready red room

Because working in the city doesn't mean living there

Will I like it here?

Sure. Do you like the colour red? Need an easy spot near train stations, where you can get anywhere in Berlin? Sound like what you're looking for? This is it.

Really? Tell me more...

You get a revitalized red kitchen. Pop a pizza in the oven while you hunker down to watch some TV. Dash to work in the city centre during the week. Take a breather over weekends. Check out the parks, and read a book.

We think this is a great spot for someone just starting out in their career, or who just moved to Berlin.Enjoy quiet time overlooking the serene courtyard. Invite a new friend over for a cup of tea at the dining table. Stroll along the parks, breathe in the fresh air.

Your top 3 reasons to live here:

  • Quiet courtyard — serenity in your personal space.
  • Red kitchen cupboards — colour makes the world exciting, after all.
  • Close to a major transit stop — no rush, you'll get where you need to be.

But you need to know this...

  • The building doesn't have an elevator. The apartment is on the second floor, though.

Your Home-checker, Stefaniya, said:

“I love this apartment, it is nice and cosy with the nearest main station only a few minutes' walk away.”

Help me make up my mind...

This is a 2nd floor, studio apartment on Weichselstraße, Berlin. It has red kitchen cupboards to bring some colour to your life. It's in the inner side of the building with a quiet courtyard view, sweet serenity. It is close to major transit lines so you can get anywhere you need to go.

It is perfect for someone who works in the city, but wants that quiet suburban life. Simple, easy life — perfect for anyone just starting out.

What we liked the most

  • Gazing out at the peaceful courtyard.
  • Having a nice pop of colour in the kitchen.
  • Getting around the city easily with nearby public transport.

Things to keep in mind

  • The building doesn't have an elevator. The apartment is on the second floor, though.
