What we liked the most

  • Do you want to live in a palace? With classical art, elegant rooms and antique furniture, this is the next best thing.
  • This apartment is very spacious; it's spread over 2 floors, has high ceilings, and very large rooms.
  • There are 2 balconies; one is connected to the living space, and the other can be accessed through the kitchen.
  • The bedroom has its own toilet, and there is a larger bathroom downstairs.
  • The kitchen has a convenient dishwasher and plenty of worktop space.
  • You will be living a short walk from the European Commission - very practical for those who work for the EU.
  • The charming Parc du Cinquantenaire is just next to your apartment.

Things to keep in mind

  • This is technically a 3-bedroom apartment, but you won't be living with anyone else. The other 2 bedrooms are closed, and are for the landlady to store some of her belongings.
  • The apartment is not suitable for couples with children because of steep stairs.
  • There is no washing machine, but there are launderettes nearby.
