There is a parquet floor and warm lighting, but you get ample natural light from the balcony doors located in the living room, which is furnished with a sofa, 2-seat desk and TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, as well as a washer and dryer, and there is a 4-seat dining table. Largely a residential area, you’ll find that Woluwe Saint Lambert is an ideal place to relax, socialize with your neighbors, and really dive into the Belgian lifestyle. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, and pharmacies, small shops and electronics are easy to find. The Woluwe Shopping Center is a 20-minute walk and it’s just beyond the sprawling Maloupark. It will take you about the same time to get to a large supermarket unless you have a bicycle, which is something you might want to consider if you want to live like a local!

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is bright, comfy and you can’t beat a balcony!
  • Access to a dishwasher, washing machine and a dryer makes life easy.
  • The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet.
  • There are a couple of restaurants and a little market on Chaussée de Stockel, just one street over.
