What we liked the most

  • The sunny terrace gives light to the apartment and offers a chilled, relaxing space overlooking the garden: offering an escape from city life.
  • There are several large windows, both interior and exterior, which make the apartment luminous and the stylish décor gives the apartment a modern feel.
  • The studio is absolutely charming- we especially love the wooden elements and the high ceilings.
  • Location, location, location! Ixelles really is a prime neighbourhood in Brussels: with wide streets, cool bars and sophisticated apartments, this will offer the full Belgian experience.
  • Transport connections are fantastic and you can get around the city at any time, in no time at all. Night services and trams, metro and bus all at your disposal.

Things to keep in mind

  • There are no washing facilities in the apartment; however there is a laundrette nearby.
  • The kitchen and bathroom are both fairly petite, yet the location, ample space in the rest of the studio, coupled with the extra space added by the terrace and large windows more than makes up for this.
  • The building does not have an elevator.

The apartment is three minutes on foot from Fernand Cocq bus stop which links to lines 54 and 71 and night buses N09 and N10. Tram station Stephanie is 9 minutes away with connections to 93 and 94 and the Porte de Namur metro is 8 minutes away on foot. European Institutions, universities and city center can all be accessed by transport in under twenty minutes. Larger train station Gare de Bruxelles-Schuman is ten minutes by car and will take you all around Belgian.
