This beautifully presented property has high ceilings, attractive antique wooden doors and a charming decorative fireplace. With a floor area of 40 m², this apartment is relatively small, but it is well equipped. The property features an open-plan kitchen and living area with a large window that overlooks the street. Tenants will enjoy relaxing in the comfortable seating area where they can watch TV or enjoy dinner. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and has an en-suite bathroom.

The apartment is located on Rue du Trône, in the wealthy neighbourhood of Ixelles, close to public transport, green spaces, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Bus 95 stops a minute from the apartment and takes you to the Free University of Brussels in just 6 minutes. Brussels's City Centre is located only 30 minutes away on foot, or a short ride away using public transport. Brussel-Luxemburg train station, where you can catch Eurocity, local and intercity trains, is 8 minutes from the apartment.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment has lots of character, it is located in an old building that has been restored.
  • The living area is smartly designed, and is furnished with sofa, a coffee table and a TV placed on top of a chest of drawers.
  • There is a table that could also be used as a desk.
  • The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, 2 bedside tables with lamps, and a wardrobe.
  • The apartment has lovely high ceilings.
  • Tenants will have access to a shared laundry room located on the first floor of the building, featuring a washing machine and a dryer.
  • There is central heating in the apartment.
  • The apartment has a convenient location in Ixelles, close to public transport, the Free University of Brussels and Brussel-Luxemburg train station.

Things to keep in mind

  • The bedroom does not have a window, but comes with a fan.
  • The bathroom is accessed via the bedroom.
  • The kitchen is compact, but well equipped for cooking - it has everything including an oven and a dishwasher.
