This property is very modern and stylish, (completely renovated in January 2017), with a huge open-plan living area, with comfortable furnishings and a dining table to seat 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, and there are 2 bathrooms and 2 toilet rooms to share between tenants.

The apartment is situated on Avenue Henry Dunant in Evere, very close to the neighbouring Schaerbeek district. The local area is a relatively green, residential neighbourhood, but you still find plenty of amenities nearby. There are several grocery stores (Delhaize, Carrefour, Colruyt), along with other useful things such as a medical centre and pharmacy. For leisure, you can wander the beautiful neighbourhood, and visit the parks, or the nearby indoor swimming pool or tennis courts. There is good public transport in the area, which can bring you directly to the center of Brussels or the airport. There is also, in addition to the private underground parking, lots of free car parking nearby (blue zone).

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is exceptionally bright, with wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows along one entire side of the property.
  • Your terrace, running the whole length of the apartment, offers amazing views, and is accessible from every room.
  • The property has a washing machine and a dryer, you can do your laundry from home.
  • There is private parking available, with an individual enclosed space with a door in the underground garage.
  • Security is good, with a video-intercom in place for access to the building.
  • NATO is a 15-minute walk from the apartment.

Things to keep in mind

  • The oven in the kitchen is not a traditional oven, but a microwave combi-oven.
