You get a large open space above the living room. You can do yoga or martial arts here, or kit it out as an office – the choice is yours.

We think this would suit a respectful couple, perhaps with a child, who need their sleep, as well as an extra space for work or play.

This apartment is full of character and is perfect for a couple, or small family, who like to keep things low key and don’t smoke.

What we liked the most

  • Entertaining guests in the colourful lounge – cos we all need to relax.
  • Gazing up at the skylights – we all like to feel we have our heads in the clouds.
  • Wandering into the bathroom in the morning to splash cold water on your face.
  • A small organic shop is located just a 10-minute walk from the apartment.
  • The apartment is near the beautiful Josaphat Park.

Things to keep in mind

  • You'll be using the stairs to get to the 2nd and 3rd floors, as there's no elevator. The landlady's family on the first couple of floors are looking for respectful tenants.
  • When we visited, bedroom 2 had a single bed. Good news! It now has a double bed.
