Woluwe-Saint-Pierre: This residential district, which was widely shaped by The French Revolution, used to be a home to agriculture and fisheries. Today, it’s a safe and friendly area mostly filled by picturesque houses - an ideal location for couples and families and very popular with EU institution workers. It’s a home of the large same-named park, where you can take morning walks or runs in the nature and admire the beautiful greenery. As the district’s website states, it’s an area to live, to grow, to work, to undertake, to dwell, to enjoy, to age well and to take care of yourself all while still being able to get to the city centre in just 20 minutes on the metro line 1.
