This is a bright and spacious studio apartment for rent, which gets plenty of light, despite being a basement apartment. You enter through glass double doors, from the shared garden, straight into the kitchen and dining area, which is spacious and fully equipped. Further into the apartment you have a double bed and TV, and a large wardrobe with full length mirrors, plus an armchair. The bathroom is very modern, and there is a separate shower room.
You will be living in the Ixelles area of the city, just a short walk from the European Parliament, and from the city centre. There are plenty of local amenities, including Lidl, Aldi and Carrefour supermarkets within a few minute's walk. Ideal for a civil servant, this apartment would also be a great location for a student or academic, close to several museums and institutes of research, and within a short train journey of Université Libre de Bruxelles.
What we liked the most
- Despite being a basement apartment, this studio is still very bright.
- It is also very spacious, with plenty of room for a couple to live without getting under one another's feet.
- The location is ideal not only for those working at the European Parliament, but also for students or academics.
- There are plenty of amenities nearby, and for exploring the cities sites this central location is perfect.
- Pets are permitted in this apartment.
Things to keep in mind
- The washer and dryer are in a common laundry room.
- The big TV that can be seen in the video is not there anymore.
