This 3rd floor, 2-bedroom flat to rent on Lamb Alley is right downtown in the Old City. It’s a comfortable, open-plan flat that gets plenty of natural light. Upon opening the front door, you arrive in the combined kitchen, living, and dining area. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a washing machine. The rest of the area is furnished with 3 sofas, a 4-seat dining table, and a TV. You can access a small balcony from here, too. The bathroom, which is down the hall, has a tub. The bedrooms are bright and airy with relaxing double beds.

As you might guess, the Old City neighbourhood is ancient! In fact, it dates all the way back to the Viking and medieval periods. Cobblestone streets sometimes pave paths to the popular sights. And your new home is close to many of them. The Old City wall is around the corner. Dublin Castle is a 10-minute walk away. But there is plenty here that’s new, as well. The National College of Art and Design is down the street. And District 8 nightclub is around the corner, along with many restaurants.

What we liked the most

  • The flat is pleasant. It’s nice to have a balcony and great to have a washing machine, too.
  • What’s Dublin without whiskey? The Teeling Whiskey Distillery is a 10-minute walk away.
  • There is a supermarket just down the street from your new home.
  • You’ll discover lots of nearby theatres, including Vicar Street and the Gaiety.
