The property has a modern, fully furnished kitchen and a large patio and garden area. There is also a driveway at the front of the house which fits 2+ cars. Mulhuddart Wood is known as a quiet, family-friendly area and is especially recommended for mature students or young professionals. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to discover nearby, and Dublin city centre is easily reached by car or by bus.

If you have a car, the N3 motorway is the quickest route to the city centre. Tenants using public transport can catch the 38 or 38A bus from Parsliktown Avenue, which is a 10-minute walk away. The airport is only 20-minutes by car on the M50. Alternatively, you can get there via Drumcondra train station, which is in the city centre.

It is an excellent location for families seeking a safe, family-friendly district to settle down in and enjoy life, or professionals who want a quiet place to rest in the evenings and on weekends.

What we liked the most

  • There are two bathrooms upstairs for use by tenants – no more waiting in the morning!
  • The open-plan kitchen and dining area enjoys abundant natural light via the french doors which open onto the patio and garden.
  • The washing machine is outside in the shed, which means you can wash your clothes without disturbing the other tenants.
  • The garden and patio area is spacious and well maintained, so you can enjoy being outside whenever the sun does decide to shine.
  • The kitchen has a big food-preparation worktop, a large oven, and a microwave. This makes it ideal for a shared-tenancy house.

Things to keep in mind

  • The landlord's son – who lives on the property – has a large, friendly dog.
  • Although smoking is not allowed inside the property, it is permitted in the garden.
