What is it like to live here according to the Landlord?

The house has best of both worlds really; a private quiet space in a house share situation. A high quality well appointed maintained house, in an excellently central and quiet location. Portobello is a relaxed neighborhood for central city location. It features high on surveys of best places to live in the city, including pole position in a recent Irish Times survey of Dublin residential locations. This fashionable yet quiet city centre enclave, 20 minutes walking distance to Grafton Street (principal city centre shopping area) and the main business districts of Dublin 2 & 4 are adjacent this quiet central enclave. The house is also very relaxing and cosy in the evening time with dramatic lighting to emphasise some of the more attractive house features.

This 3-storey, 5-bedroom house has several large, bright rooms for rent. The bedrooms are all located upstairs and come with big windows so they receive plenty of light. The shared area is the open layout kitchen and living room that comes fully furnished and equipped for shared living. There is 1 bathroom, 1 en-suite bathroom for the 3rd bedroom, and 1 toilet room.

The house is located on a residential street in Downtown Dublin. The location is very convenient, with multiple bus lines just 5 minutes from the house. If you enjoy the outdoors, you are also have a canal close by – perfect for a morning or evening run.

What we liked the most

  • The living room and kitchen area have high ceilings with a large skylight window, keeping it sun-filled.
  • Bedroom 3 has a private en-suite bathroom.
  • The living room is fully equipped with 2 large L-shape sofas, a glass dining table, shelving, and a piano.
  • The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, electric stove, oven, washing machine, 2 refrigerators, and a lot of storage space.
  • The house is in a very central location near buses, the canal, and lots of shops.
