Centro: This area, as the historical heart of the city, has plenty to keep you unlocking the city’s true roots. This area is home to the Cathedral, the burial sites of the Reyes Católicos, Juan la Loca, and Felipe El Hermoso, and the Monasterio de San Jerónimo. The area is also home to Granada’s first university, the Madraza de Granada, and the Alcaicería de Granada, which is the best place to buy souvenirs. The city’s main shopping streets can be found in Centro as well.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is located in a charming old building which has been tastefully renovated. It has high ceilings and receives lots of natural light.
  • The open plan kitchen and living area is beautifully presented, and offers a dining table, a sofa and a TV.
  • Bedroom 1 is furnished with a double bed, 2 bedside tables, a wardrobe and has a large window overlooking the street.
  • Bedroom 2 is equipped with a single bed, a table with a chair, a wardrobe and a small balcony with lovely street views.
  • The common terrace on the top floor of the building offers nice city views and is furnished with a table with chairs and an umbrella.
  • You can't beat the central location of this budget-friendly flat, within walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and most of the city's main attractions.

Things to keep in mind

  • The apartment is located on the 4th floor, and the building doesn't have an elevator.
  • The kitchen is well-equipped, but it doesn't have an oven. There is a microwave and an electric stove where you can cook your meals.
