Neighborhood information

In Los Pajaritos you’ll find the Granada train station as well as the home of the Campus Universitario de Fuentenueva which has several installations of the Universidad de Granada, including the Facultad de las Ciencias and several university dining halls. The Plaza de Toros-Doctores-San Lázaro neighborhood’s big architectural draw is indeed the Plaza de Toros. Built in 1928 and in a neomudejar style, there are bars and restaurants at the bottom since the 1990s. You’ll also find the Facultad de Medicina as well as two hospitals, the San Ruiz de Alda and the Hospital Clínico San Cecilio. The neighborhood has lots of bars, restaurants, and pubs, making it a popular student hub.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is decorated with traditional wooden furniture, adding an authentic Spanish feel to the property.
  • There is a large balcony that lets in a lot of light.
  • The bedrooms are big and sunny. Bedroom 1 is particularly impressive, as it has its own bathroom across the hall and a spacious balcony.
  • The kitchen is big and there is a lot of space for storing your food.
  • The landlord is planning to change the doors to the bedrooms; the new door will have an independent lock, so tenants will have added security.

Things to keep in mind

  • The landlord, who is a law student, lives in the apartment as well. She has her own bathroom so tenants will have lots of independence.
