Centro: This area, as the historical heart of the city, has plenty to keep you unlocking the city’s true roots. This area is home to the Cathedral, the burial sites of the Reyes Católicos, Juan la Loca, and Felipe El Hermoso, and the Monasterio de San Jerónimo. The area is also home to Granada’s first university, the Madraza de Granada, and the Alcaicería de Granada, which is the best place to buy souvenirs. The city’s main shopping streets can be found in Centro as well.

What we liked the most

  • All of the bedrooms have large windows that let in a lot of light, including those facing the sunny interior patio.
  • An extra water closet makes sharing a bathroom more manageable.
  • The kitchen is spacious, modern, and has plenty of storage and prep space.
  • Calle Alhóndiga is ideally located right in the city center and within walking distance of nearly every major attraction.

Things to keep in mind

  • The location is on a popular pedestrian street, so it can get a bit loud. However you do not have to deal with traffic noise.
  • Bills are not included in the rent, except for Wi-Fi, which is installed and activated in the property.
