The best way to learn Portuguese language and our culture, We are Mafalda (tour guide), Paulo (photographer and teacher)and Filipa , university student. We have two cats.
We offer a lovely large bedroom, private bathroom, large living-room, kitchen fully equipped, sunny balcony over park. All expenses are included (tv, wifi, water, electricity, bed linen and towel).
We live in a Quiet neighborhood close to shops and beautiful park. Close to CATÓLICA UNIVERSITY ( walking distance), UL CAMPUS, NOVA U. and ISLA. Metro station ALTO DOS MOINHOS , blue line direct to center.

Experience living with a Portuguese family
This lovely room with private bathroom is available to rent in a 3-bedroom family apartment in the peaceful area of Laranjeiras. This is the best way to learn the Portuguese language and about the Portuguese culture.
The property is within walking distance of a direct metro to the city centre, making it easy to commute, so you really can get the best of both worlds.
The apartment is spacious and well lit with natural light which gives you the space and light you need to truly feel comfortable and at home. The living room opens up on to a large balcony that has a tranquil view of the surrounding greenery and will be perfect in the warm summer months. The kitchen is fully equipped and complete with a seating area which will be a lovely space for you to cook and enjoy your evening meals after a busy day.
What we liked the most
- It is located in a peaceful part of the city away from the day-to-day hustle and bustle.
- Close to shops, restaurants and 100m away from a beautiful park
- The property has access to large balcony with a great view over the park- perfect for the warm Portuguese summers.
- The kitchen is fully equipped and has plenty of storage space.
- There is a large living space with plenty of seating space for you to make yourself comfortable.
