The accommodation comprises a lovely open plan reception/dining room with large windows, a well-appointed semi-separate kitchen, large master-bedroom to the rear with a pleasant westerly aspect over gardens and en-suite bathroom. Newton Road is wonderfully positioned just off Westbourne Grove with the fantastic array of fashionable shops, cafes and restaurants on the doorstep whilst there are excellent transport links close by at Bayswater and the Heathrow Express at Paddington is within close proximity. The soon to be finished cross rail is also a short distance away.
Westbourne Grove is a popular area of west London, connecting Paddington in the east with Notting Hill to the west. Buying a house here would set you back £millions but, thanks to Airbnb, you can experience living in the area for a fraction of that cost.
The area is a mixture of the residential and commercial, with cool bars and restaurants dotted among small offices, boutique shops and plush homes. The local focal point for shops and bars is Queensway, which features Whiteleys Shopping Centre and a range of stores, shops, cafes and restaurants offering food and goods from around the world.
Tube, train, bus, bike, on foot. However you prefer to get around, basing yourself here will give you easy access to all forms of transport. Notting Hill, Bayswater and Queensway tube stations are all nearby. Catching the Central Line from the latter will get you to Oxford Street in about ten minutes. Paddington mainline train terminal is nearby too, and that’s the home of the Heathrow Express, so it’s really easy to get from the airport to the apartment (and back again) if you’re flying in and out. The area is well served by bus routes too, and the London bike scheme has pick-up points close by. If you prefer getting around on foot, there are plenty of attractions within walking distance, including Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.
