Part of the Ealing Council, this large area boasts many large houses and plenty of pubs. Those who like to keep busy can head to Acton High Street, home to shops, a small mall, and supermarkets, while those who prefer tranquility can soak in the occasional sun at the Gunnersbury park. This public green space houses a museum and a pond, and hosts numerous sporting events every year. One of the positives of living in Acton is the ease of access to Heathrow via the metro or cab. Due to recent developments, Acton has become a safe area in which to live and has quite a diverse population, in particular a large Australian and New Zealander population!

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is very bright with large windows in the bedrooms and a skylight window in the main corridor.
  • The kitchen is very spacious with storage space, a washing machine, and a dining table.
  • You also have a small balcony connected to the kitchen adding light and a place to step out and get some fresh air.
  • There are 2 bathrooms, so scheduling showers will never be a problem.
  • The apartment is on a busy street with plenty of commerce, making your life easier, but the windows are also double glazed to block out the noise.
  • You can easily reach Heathrow Airport or the city center from the Acton Town underground, less than 15 minutes away.

Things to keep in mind

  • The building does not come equipped with an elevator, but luckily the apartment is only on the 2nd floor.
