This cosy studio flat on Penywern Road, in Earl's Court, has everything you might need to enjoy life in one of the most exciting boroughs in London.

Making the best use of the small but comfortable space, the open-concept floor plan combines living, dining, sleeping and kitchen areas into one, with lots of natural light pouring in from a large window overlooking the street. The futon can be used as a sofa during the day, but it opens into a double bed when it's time to sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a two-burner stovetop, oven, microwave and a small fridge. You'll be happy to know that the building also has a shared laundry room for tenants, with washer and dryer.

The Victorian-style building is located in West Earl’s Court, just a stone throw's away from the beating heart of Kensington and Chelsea. The former site of the renowned Earl's Court Exhibition Centre is just down the road, and the coffee houses, pubs and restaurants of Old Brompton Road are less than 5 minutes away. It won't take you more than 10 minutes to get to Kensington High Street either when you decide to do some shopping. Imperial College London and the Royal Colleges of Art and Music are at the distance of a 20-minute walk, as is the home of Chelsea FC, Stamford Bridge. What better way to spend your day off?

What we liked the most

  • For such a small space, it's quite incredible how many amenities are able to fit in this flat.
  • The buildings lining the streets in this part of town are very cool.
  • The studio is in a quiet residential area, yet still close enough to all the action. It's the perfect location.
  • The old coffee houses and pubs on Old Brompton Road and Earl's Court Road sure look inviting!
