With this 3-bedroom apartment to rent on Calle Unión, you get a little bit of country living in the heart of a bustling city. It has a wonderful rustic-style kitchen, complete with a decorative wood-burning oven. Otherwise, you get all the conveniences of modern living, including an electric stove top, small fridge and washing machine. The shower room is modern, and there is a separate water closet when you first enter the apartment. The 3 bedrooms lead to the living room and dining room. There are French balconies off the common areas, which give the country-style space ample natural light.
While your new apartment may be quiet and rustic, the streets below are bustling with locals and tourists. You are in the city center after all, and this is where the action is. The 2000-room Royal Palace of Madrid is a 4-minute walk away. You might not want to visit it daily, but take advantage of the gardens and parks that surround it. Restaurants are abundant in this part of town, and there are cinemas and theaters nearby, where you can take a breath to be entertained.
What we liked the most
- The French balconies are beautiful and the rustic kitchen is a gorgeous highlight.
- Being in the center of downtown, you’re in the ideal place from which to explore all the other wonderful neighborhoods in Madrid.
- Close to the Royal Palace, you can enjoy the stunning green spaces offered by the Sabatini and Campo del Moro Gardens, as well as Atenas Park.
- There are Indian, Chinese, Italian and Latin American restaurants right around the corner, as well as an Irish pub and more Spanish tapas bars that you’ll be able to visit!
