This terrific 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Calle de Lagasca is on the 5th floor. As soon as you open the door, you arrive in the combined kitchen, living and dining space. It’s a cozy room, but you get lots of light and it has an airy vibe. The L-shaped kitchen is fully equipped and has ample storage. The rest of the space is furnished with a 2-seat counter table, sofa and TV. The double bedroom has a large built-in wardrobe and a window. And the ensuite bathroom has a shower cabin, as well as a washing machine.

It’s upscale living in the Salamanca neighborhood. This is the spot to shop. There are two El Corte Inglés department stores nearby. ABC Serrano Shopping Center is several minutes away. And all around are trendy shops and designer boutiques. Groceries are easy to find, and so are banks and restaurants. To the south of your new home is Plaza de Colón and the National Archaeological Museum. And when you want to get away, El Retiro Park is a 10-minute walk out.

What we liked the most

  • The living area gets ample light. The bedroom doesn’t, just as it should be!
  • There is a washing machine in the ensuite bathroom.
  • The kitchen is fully equipped.
  • The apartment has AC.
