This is a charming 5th floor, 2-bedroom apartment on Calle De Sandoval, Madrid. It boasts a classic decor, a nice long balcony, and a bright pink sofa.

We think this apartment is perfect for a couple or small family. It's a homely home, in a lovely central spot. The best of Madrid is right outside. Smoker? It's allowed.

What we liked the most

  • Finishing the day with a drink on the balcony – living the dream.
  • Relaxing on the pink sofa – it's a pretty spot for a siesta.
  • Sampling the fresh produce at Mercado de Vallehermoso – it's just a few blocks away.

Things to keep in mind

  • There is a washing machine but no dryer – no probs, air dry your underwear on the balcony.
  • There is no TV in this apartment. At the time of decorating this apartment, TV had not yet been invented.
  • The landlady only speaks Spanish, so all communication with her should be done in Spanish only.
