It is located on Lerida street in Tetuan, a vibrant multi-cultural neighbourhood where you will find plenty of local and international restaurants. The almighty Santiago Bernabeu football stadium is also nearby, putting you in the privileged position of being able to watch some of the best players of the world in action within a short walk from your flat.

Details

This apartment is located on the ground floor of a building which isn't equipped with an elevator and has a doorman working on-site. It has central air-conditioning for cold air and heating and electric water heating. Parking and cleaning can be arranged at an additional charge. The minimum lease for this apartment is 90 days (3 months), but there is an option to stay for less than 3 months with a different monthly price. You can dry your washing using a rack inside the apartment or the dryer.

Transportation

Metro station Alvarado (L1) is six minutes from the apartment and a 17-minute walk will take you to station Nuevos Ministerios where you can access Cercanias train services, buses and metro lines 6, 8 and 10.

Neighborhood information

Tetuán takes its name from the equally named Moroccan city. The triumphant district is a welcoming one, with many shops, supermarkets and foreign restaurants to please all. It is inhabited by many immigrants from South America and Sub-Saharan Africa. There has been some debate whether Tetuán is a "dangerous"neighborhood, with some people calling it the "Bronx of Madrid." However, it is a vibrant area with a multicultural feel. In addition, part of Madrid’s financial district is in the neighborhood, making it in an important area for business activities.

What we liked the most

  • The living area is a perfect room to relax and unwind, with soft lighting filtering between the trees and entering the room via a large window, creating a soothing and pleasant atmosphere.
  • There are two glass dining tables with 4 chairs, one in the kitchen and one in the living area.
  • The separate kitchen is a pleasant room to cook or eat, beautifully presented with immaculate white cabinets and equipped with a great range of appliances including a stove, an oven, a microwave and a dishwasher.
  • There is a washing machine which is also a dryer, allowing you to take care of your laundry fast and efficiently.

Things to keep in mind

  • Kitchen utensils, dinnerware, glassware, cutlery, TV, towels and bed linen are not included, but can be hired for an extra 60€.
  • There are two single beds on each room, but they could be joint together to create a double bed.
