Neighborhood information

Argüelles is the perfect mix of residential and commercial. The neighbourhood is full of elegant buildings that retain classic architecture. As the University of Complutense is close by, this area has its fair share of student population. Argüelles’s most notable monument is Plaza de España, a large square with a statue of Spanish writer Cervantes. The neighbourhood is safe and fairly quiet, but it has good links to transportation and there are plenty of nightlife options within walking distance. This area is borders the Parque del Oeste (which connects to Casa de Campo via the Teleférico) and the Templo de Debod; needless to say that there will always be an opportunity for an outdoor activity.

What we liked the most

  • The landlord accepts pets in this apartment, which is extremely rare for properties in central Madrid.
  • Tenants can enjoy the benefits of living near the city centre whilst being able to relax in large green spaces.
  • Parque del Oeste is 3 minutes away, and it is in this park that Templo of Debod, an ancient Egyptian temple can be found.
  • Central locations such as Plaza de España and Calle Gran Via are within walking distance from the flat.
  • The apartment boasts state-of-the-art A/C technology that is built into the walls.
  • The flat has an exceptionally large terrace which features a chair and tables.

Things to keep in mind
