This 1 bedroom apartment is available to rent on Calle Londres, in Madrid's upscale Salamanca district. The area is very well connected to the rest of the city and has some of the best shopping and dining. The apartment is fully furnished and features a spacious living room with a dining table and sofa that pulls out to a double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine, stovetop, and ample storage space. The bathroom is en-suite and has a large combined shower and bathtub. Throughout the apartment there are parquet floors, thoughtful decorations, and very large windows that let in plenty of light. It is cozy but comfortable and would be a great apartment for a young couple.

This apartment is located on the 5th floor of a building which is equipped with an elevator. You can dry your clothes on a rack inside the apartment or on a line over the patio. WiFi is installed on the property and it is activated. Cleaning is every 10 days. The monthly limit for utilities is 60€ for electricity. The apartment does not currently have A/C, however the landlord plans on installing it in the summer.

What we liked the most

  • Both WiFi and cleaning service are included in the rent.
  • The rent is very reasonable for this area of Madrid, and both the price and size of the apartment are just right for a couple or young professional.
  • Salamanca is one of Madrid's most upscale neighborhoods, so you will always feel safe.
  • The area is more low key and family friendly than downtown, however the city center is accessible either on foot or via public transport.

Things to keep in mind

  • There is no oven and the fridge is quite small, however the kitchen has everything else you need to prepare a nice meal.
