Chamartín is known as Madrid's financial district, but it is an ideal residential area for families with lots of green spaces, charming small businesses, such as restaurants and bars, along with larger shops. In this neighborhood is the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, home to Chamartín's very own Real Madrid. The Chamartín train station (with connections to cities in the north of Spain as well as trains to France and Portugal) is located in the area. This is a great area where you can have some peace and quiet while still being connected to the city center through incredibly ample and convenient public transportation offerings. This area is perfect if you do not want to be in the center of the hustle-and-bustle of the Madrid nightlife.
