Guindalera and Fuente del Berro
Guindalera and Fuente del Berro are more residential parts of the larger Salamanca district. This area is close to the IE Business School campus and while more residential in nature, you’ll find the Las Ventas bullring in this district. As Spain’s most important bullring, the venue also hosts famous concerts (past acts include Coldplay and Romeo Santos).
What we liked the most
- This apartment is in a quiet, residential area but is very close to the city centre by Metro (or walking, in about 30-40 minutes).
- The kitchen is really bright and cheerful, and would be an ideal place to spend some time with your new flatmates.
- There are 2 bathrooms. Never underestimate the difference an extra toilet and shower can make!
- If you are interested in some traditional Spanish culture, Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas is on your doorstep, where you can catch bullfighting, or if that doesn't take your fancy, it is also used for Tennis, Red Bull X motocross events, and as a concert venue.
