Neighborhood information

Chueca:

Known for its gay friendliness, Chueca is very lively and friendly for people of all age; lately it has also earned the nickname “SoHo” of Madrid for its New York-feel. The center of the neighborhood is Plaza de Chueca and the Mercado de San Antón (just behind Plaza de Chueca), which has a variety of gastronomic offerings from different cuisines. The pedestrian part of Calle Fuencarral runs through this district and is one of the few commercial areas open on Sundays, making it perfect for those who like to do their shopping on the weekends.

  • The artwork in bedroom one is a nice touch.
  • There are myriad bars, restaurants and cafes nearby.

Things to keep in mind

  • The kitchen does not have an oven, but it does have a microwave and an electric stove.
  • Natural light for bedroom 1 comes from a window that looks into bedroom 2.
  • There is no living room.
