This 3-bedroom apartment in Chamberí is for rent either by the room or as a whole apartment. The property has been decorated in a retro cruise ship-inspired style with lots of wood, and feels comfortable, cosy and unique. Spread over 2 floors, there is an open-plan kitchen and living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs; and a mezzanine study, bedroom and bathroom upstairs.

You will be living in the very desirable Ríos Rosas / Alonso Cano area of Chamberí, an upscale district which is one of the best places to live in Madrid. Just around the corner from the apartment are the well-known restaurants and gourmet tapas bars of Calle Ponzano, as well as plenty of other things to see and enjoy.

Neighborhood information

Rios Rosas/Cuatro Caminos: Another part of the Chamberí district, this residential area has efficient public transport systems that connect to the center as well as plenty of cultural offerings in its own right. Calle Ponzano, for instance, has a high concentration of new bars and restaurants, making ponzaning a new buzzword for nighttime outing. Closer to Cuatro Caminos, you’ll find plenty of neighborhood stores, restaurants, bars, and fast food restaurants. There are also two large parks: the Paque de Tercer Depósito, more popularly known as Parque Santander (which also has a large golf practice range) and the Canal Isabel II sports installations with a huge public pool ideal in the summertime.

What we liked the most

  • We love the original retro decor.
  • The living area has high ceilings, making it feel airy and spacious.
  • The mezzanine study area would be perfect for students or as a home office.
  • The surrounding area is one of the best neighbourhoods in Madrid.
