Neighborhood information

La Latina:

With one of the highest concentrations of tapas bars in Madrid (and with a slightly more elevated clientele than in Malasaña), La Latina is a festive neighborhood both day and night. While relaxed during the day, it’s definitely full of action at night. Sunday mornings will find you at the center of El Rastro, the city’s world-famous flea market, where everything from antiques to cheap home appliances are sold against a backdrop of locals enjoying cañas or beer and glasses of vermouth.

What we liked the most

  • All the rooms have a key for added privacy.
  • The majority of bedrooms have their own private balcony.
  • The kitchen has 2 refrigerators and a washing machine.
  • Each tenant has a numbered storage space in the kitchen.
  • There are quite a few parks nearby.

Things to keep in mind

  • The building does not have an elevator.
