This 4-bedroom apartment is the perfect space for students who want to be within a 5-minute walk from the Getafe Campus of Charles III University of Madrid. Of course, it’s also a convenient and affordable location if you’re working at any one of the nearby Industrial parks, or want to be close to the Gatafe Military Air Base. Located on the 2nd floor, this apartment has been newly renovated. The shared bathroom, which has a standing shower, is spacious, and although the kitchen is narrow it’s equipped with most appliances, cookware and dishes so that you can pick up and move in whenever you’re ready!

The apartment itself is located in a quiet residential area, and you can be sure that you’ll get plenty of rest before heading to work or to class. However, this doesn’t mean that there isn’t anything to do! Gatafe is located on the edge of the metropolitan area, and accessing Madrid’s city center, which is only a 13 km distance, is easy by car or train. The neighborhood offers plenty of local bars and restaurants, and the Nassica shopping centre has a bowling alley, as well as a 20-cinema complex. If you’re more of a nature buff, then you can stroll through the nearby Castilla la Mancha park or hike through the paths on Cerro de los Ángeles. The area may feel like a small town, but it’s still a sizable city!

What we liked the most

  • It's only a 5-minute walk to the Getafe Campus of Charles III University of Madrid.
  • The decent-sized bedrooms are very affordable.
  • The property is close to many restaurants and there are also a few different supermarkets and grocery stores.
  • The relaxing Castilla-La Mancha park is within walking distance, and it's only a 15-minute drive to both Cerro de los Ángeles and to downtown Madrid.

  • There are multiple bus stops within walking distance, but the closest can be reached in 5 minutes.
  • The nearest train station, Las Margaritas-Universidad, is only a 10-minute walk, and serves line C4.
