General info

Description

The room to rent in this 2-bedroom apartment to rent on Avenida de la Gavia is ideal if you enjoy a quiet spot out of the city center. You’ll be sharing common areas that are wonderful, bright and fully furnished with the live-in landlady. The open-plan living and dining area have a simple glass table with 2 chairs and a large and comfy sofa where you can relax, read or watch TV. There is a fair-sized window in this room, which has a view to the street. The kitchen also has another 2-seat table, and is fully-equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher. From the kitchen, you can enter the laundry room, which has some extra storage space. Additionally, you have your own private bathroom with a shower stall.

Villa de Vallecas is a friendly residential neighborhood, with many small family-owned businesses. It’s out of the hustle and bustle of downtown living, which will suit you perfectly if you enjoy a quiet area. It will take you about 30 minutes on public transportation, but this is a great neighborhood if you’re attending the Technical University of Madrid. In your immediate vicinity, you’ll find Italian, Indian and Japanese restaurants, and there is a Mercadona supermarket just 4 minutes away. There is also an IKEA store, which is part of a larger mall with a cinema, just a 20-minute bus ride from your door.
