Close to Retiro Park, there area is still relatively quiet (and conducive to doing some sport and burning off some of those calories you may have picked up at the great local restaurants). This location will simply charm you!

What we liked the most

  • This place is super modern, but classically presented. It's new enough to feel luxuriously modern, but not so modern that the furnishings will date. This place has longevity.
  • For a 6-bedroom property, there is a lot of room and space. You won't be living on top of each other.
  • The location is incredible and well connected to the rest of the city! This area is sensational!
  • Each room has its own look and feel. While modern, there is still a lot of personality in this property.

Things to keep in mind

  • There really isn't a dedicated area for eating. While there is a table and chairs, they have been placed in a corridor. We kind of like this feature, though.

Getting around


  • You will have a lot of transportation options to choose from here: Metros Principe de Vergara (lines 2 and 9), Retiro (line 2), Ibiza (line 9), and Sainz de Baranda (lines 6 and 9) are all within walking distance, although Ibiza is definitely the closest!
  • Bus stop Ibiza - Maiquez is literally at your front door, and provides you with access to 2 and N8.
  • Both Calle del Alcalde Sainz de Baranda and Avenida de Menendez Pelayo also provide you with plenty of options going in all directions.
