Located near Puerta de Atocha, with service to other cities in Spain via the Larga Distancia, Media Distancia, and AVE high-speed trains and all Cercanías commuter train lines, you’ll be extremely well-connected to the suburban university campuses (including the Comillas campus in Alcobendas, Carlos III in Getafe, the Autónoma, and the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares) as well as to the Retiro, Tierno Galván park, and the city’s most famous museums. In spite of being close to many tourist attractions, these neighborhoods are incredibly authentic and are relatively affordable.
