While there is a Cercanías train station, it would be more comfortable to have a car, as things are spread out. The area is perfect for those having to travel to western suburbs such as Pozuelo de Alarcón, Las Rozas, and Majadahonda, as well as those who work in the city center, but who want to live in a more calm and upscale area.
