Two twin rooms and one double room are available for rent in a four bedroom 130 sqm apartment. The fourth bedroom is occupied by the landlady and her cat, creating a homestay-like atmosphere. This apartment is very stylish, decorated using an attractive mix of retro inspired and modern furniture. Shared amenities include two bathrooms, a living area and a modern kitchen.

This lovely flat is located on Reina Victoria street, in the neighbourhood of Cuatro Caminos, a vibrant multicultural district in the north of Madrid. It's well-connected to the city centre and near Parque Santander, Teatro de Canal and Ciudad Universitaria. You'll also find many restaurants, tapas bars, supermarkets, shops and gyms!

This apartment is located on the eighth floor of a 1920 building which is equipped with an elevator. It was renovated in 2014. It has natural gas heating and natural gas water heating. The minimum lease for this apartment is 90 days (3 months) and the maximum lease is 270 days (9 months).

What we liked the most

  • This apartment has lots of style and is beautifully decorated. Even the two bathrooms are nicely presented in tones of black and white.
  • It has nice polished wooden floors, which contribute to the overall warm and welcoming vibe.
  • The fully renovated kitchen with all mod cons makes cooking a nice homemade meal easy.
  • In the living area you will find a flat screen TV with some sitting spaces in-front, and a dining table with six chairs.
  • The apartment is on the eighth floor, from where you can enjoy of some impressive views over the city.

  • Bedrooms 1 and 2 are interior but receive good natural light.

  • House and Building Rules: The Apartment:
    • Maintain cleanliness and order in public areas, organize and clean the kitchen and appliances after use, only turn on the dishwasher and laundry machine when it is completely full and replace clean utensils to their appropriate location as soon as finished. Use the correct trash and recycling bins, change garbage bags when full and keep the bins clean, take out the trash/recycling according to your schedule. Sweep and mop the floor according to your schedule or if its needed.
    • With respect to the bathrooms, we shall leave all areas and surfaces clean after use: this includes cleaning the sink and mirror to remove any soap or toothpaste residue, turning off all faucets, cleaning the shower and bath to remove soap residue and hair, opening windows to avoid condensation, closing the toilet lid after use, verifying you have properly flushed the toiled, using air freshener when necessary, and, drying or mopping the floor after showers.
    • Washing machines and dishwashers are to be turned on in according to an optimal timetable, check it up at www.energia.guru • From 23:00 to 8:30, shall respect the bedtime of other inhabitants of the Apartment and neighbors of the Building who are resting. As such, shall maintain the television, computers and music at low volume, walk gently down the hall and avoid abruptly opening and closing doors.
    • Knock the door before entering the bathroom or the rooms of other residents.
    • It shall open a window in his/her room daily to avoid condensation, however, avoid opening windows when the heat is running.
    • Unusually high bills will be shared among the residents of the Apartment. In order to avoid an increase in the usual bills, it is important that LESSEE does not leave the Apartment with lights or heaters on and use ensure the dishwasher and washing machine are only used at full capacity and according to the optimal timetable. The Building:
    • Shall not spit, litter or perpetrate any damage on elevators, stairways or landings.
    • The garbage is collected at 20:30h: organic waste is collected Sunday through Friday, and packaging waste(cans and plastics) are collected Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. There is no garbage collection on Saturday.
    • Furthermore, there is no scheduled collection of glass or paper, but these items should be deposited in the appropriate containers provided in the street. The schedule for taking out the garbage will be schedule among the residents of the Apartment.

Transportation

Metro station Rio Caminos, with access to lines 1, 2 and 6, is located two minutes from the apartment. The bus line F, which goes directly to the Compultense University, is right in front of the flat.
