Description

This landlord only accepts female students.

Bookings accepted for entire academic year, and short stays during the summer only.

Three single rooms and one twin room available for rent in a four bedroom apartment with two bathrooms. This interior flat has a floor area of 110 sqm, and is comfortable and silent, as it faces a courtyard rather than the street. Shared amenities include a fully equipped kitchen where you will also find a washing machine, and a living area with a TV. There is central heating throughout the apartment, so you will be nice and warm even during the harsh Madrid winter. Wi-Fi is already installed and included in the monthly rent, allowing you to contact your family back home as soon as you arrive to the flat. The apartment is located on Embajadores street, in the neighborhood of Arganzuela, steps away from a metro station.

Neighborhood information

The southern part of Arganzuela is a central yet affordable part of Madrid. This popular area is a contrast to the posh and fashionable North Madrid neighborhoods. A great, residential neighborhood if you want to find an affordable flat, which is only 20 minutes from the city center by metro or a 30 minute walk, and in a place that still has an urban feel. Famous attractions in this area of Arganzuela (Legazpi) are the Casa del Reloj, which currently houses the Arganzuela Municipal District offices, the Enrique Tierno Galván Park, and the Matadero. The Matadero is an old slaughterhouse that has been converted into an arts and cultural space which has arts exhibitions, theater performances, film screenings, a whole variety of workshops for the public including a course on urban bicycle riding, and even bicycle rentals.

What we liked the most

  • There is a nice shared living area, equipped with two sofas, a TV and a dining table, and a dining room with another small table with two chairs.
  • There are two bathrooms in the apartment, both equipped with a bathtub.
  • Every bedroom has its own independent key.
  • You will have your own desk with a chair in your room, providing you with a quiet and private space to study.
  • Bedroom 3 is equipped with twin beds, making it a great option for friends travelling to Madrid together.

Things to keep in mind

  • The kitchen is older style, but it is fully equipped, including a gas stove, an oven, a fridge, a microwave and a dishwasher.
