Within this area is classy and hip Alonso Martínez; bordering Chueca, you’ll find a Parisian-style atmosphere with plenty to suit your palette and your wardrobe. The numerous plazas, including Plaza de Santa Bárbara in Alonso Martínez, Plaza de Chamberí, and Plaza de Olavide are perfect places to lounge with your friends.

What we liked the most

  • Every room for rent has a desk, making this apartment perfect for students.
  • The living room is fairly big and is furnished with a sofa. It also features a small balcony with a first floor street view.
  • The apartment also has a small storage room where you can keep mops, brooms and other cleaning supplies.
  • The kitchen is fully furnished and has plenty of cupboards and drawers, along with a big fridge. You don't need to bring anything with you as you'll have access to plenty of silverware, dishes and glasses. You'll also be able to use to the washing machine.
  • Almagro is a quaint and authentic neighborhood, popular for its proximity to the city center. You're guaranteed a local experience living in this area!
  • The apartment has a very easy access to the city centre as there are plenty of metro and bus stations nearby that you can use.
