A 50 m², studio apartment is available to rent in the Lavapiés area of Madrid. The apartment has been thoughtfully decorated with a green colour scheme and small touches that lend it character such as exposed beams and stonework and stylish lamps and lampshades.
Lavapiés is rapidly becoming one of the hottest neighbourhoods in Madrid while still retaining its true personality as an area with multicultural roots with residents from all over the world, including Africa and the Middle East. It boasts a wide range of cuisines and a buzzing and alternative nightlife.
What we liked the most
- The property is stylishly decorated with quirky touches such as the lampshades and print cushions.
- There is an oven as well as a stove, something rarely found in studios.
- The bed is located on a mezzanine, a clever design that saves on space.
- The property is a 10-minute walk from Sol, considered not only the centre of the city but which is also literally the centre of Spain.

Things to keep in mind
- There is no parking available with the property but given its centrality and proximity to multiple metro stations, you probably will not need a car.
