The best thing about this property is that it has the living, dining, and sleeping areas properly divided, to give you the benefits of a studio while not having everything altogether.

The apartment is two blocks from Calle Bravo Murillo, one of the longest streets in Madrid full of branches of popular chain stores, the Mercado de Maravillas farther south, and just about anything you could need from local and international merchants. You're also 5 minutes from a branch of Mercadona, one of Spain's best grocery store chains.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment has a dryer, which is often hard to come by in Madrid. This is certainly fantastic for those unwilling to wait for their clothes to dry.
  • The bathroom has a bathtub, ideal for those looking to treat themselves after a hard day in class or at the office with a bath.
  • You may choose to contract parking and/or a cleaning service, among other features, for an extra fee. Read the fine print in the Landlord Policies section!
  • While on a quiet street, you're two blocks from the area's main thoroughfare.

Things to keep in mind

  • There is no formal living room area, but you still can watch TV from the comfort of your bed.
  • There is no WiFi installed in the apartment, but there are plenty of providers that you can contract.
  • The TV is an extra that is not included in the basic rental price, but you can choose to add it on.
