Argüelles is a great area for those looking to escape the crowds of downtown Madrid, but who still want to be close to the center, and very near the university area. This part of the city has plenty of parks, with the Western part of the neighborhood being just a 5 minute walk away from Templo de Debod, Parque del Oeste and Casa de Campo. Parque del Oeste, in addition to being a point for the Teleférico connecting it to Casa de Campo, is also home to La Rosaleda, a rose garden with many varieties from all over the world. In addition to being a popular area for students to live, the area is home to the Alberto Aguilera campus of the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, perfect for those who will be studying at ICADE.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is modern, has nice wooden floors and is equipped with brand new, top quality appliances and furniture
  • There is good storage space, featuring one big wardrobe, a built-in cabinet high up the wall by the entrance door, and an additional storage unit under the bed

Things to keep in mind

  • The studio is small, but makes very good use of space creating a comfortable living space for a single person -The kitchen is compact and has no oven, but it has been smartly designed to be fully functional. It also has the added benefit of having the option of closing it off from the main living area by the use of two sliding doors
  • This flat is interior, but gets good natural light
