Neighborhood information

Malasaña is both traditional and alternative. If you enjoy being out and going for drinks, this is the neighborhood for you. By day, the barrio is rather quiet with lots of charming boutiques and restaurants, while at night it transforms into a nightlife hub with an impressive amount of bars and music venues. The style of the neighborhood is defined by traditional 19th century buildings with painted facades, with the Plaza del 2 de Mayo at its core. The Movida Madrileña in the 1980’s thrived here and the creative spirit lives on with Malasaña being home to many of the city’s up-and-coming new businesses along streets such as Corredera de San Pablo and Calle Pez.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is very clean and modern looking and decorated with hints of a beautiful dark red.
  • It is located in Malasana, one of the hippest and most lively areas of all Madrid!
  • The apartment is perfect for one person or a couple who wants to be centrally located.
  • Pets are allowed in this apartment!

Things to keep in mind

  • The kitchen is quite small, but it has a dishwasher.
  • The bed is a sofa bed, but it helps to utilize the apartment’s space when folded up.
