Located along Calle Lagasca, 15 minutes walking from IE Business School, this interior apartment offers a comfortable home for students, professionals, or couples looking to live in a nice and safe area of the city. We really like this cosy apartment - it features plenty of storage for all your belongings, along with a snug double bed, a small kitchen and a sofa for your guests. Madrid can get really hot in the summer, so you will be able to use air conditioning to cool off. The area of this studio is 28m2. It's surrounded by plenty of shops and bars and you will also have the advantage of being near El Corte Ingles and plenty of supermarkets.

This apartment is located on the 4th floor of a building which is equipped with an elevator. It has an A/C unit for heating and electric water heating. You can dry your clothes on racks inside the apartment. Wi-Fi is installed but not activated.

Transportation

Neighborhood information

Salamanca: As Madrid’s affluent neighborhood, you’ll find a New York-style grid of roads and the “Milla de Oro”, comprised of Calle Serrano, Velázquez, and Ortega y Gasset, which are three of the most expensive streets in all of Spain. But not everything is designer: many of the other side streets have unique boutiques and hip restaurants. With a 19th century bourgeoisie feel, you’ll have great shopping options, Retiro at the end of Calle Serrano at the Puerta de Alcalá, and the IE Business School campus all within walking distance.

What we liked the most

  • The neighborhood of Salamanca is THE posh area of Madrid. Here you'll find boutiques as well as top tier restaurants all within walking distance.
  • As IE Business School is a mere 15 minute walk, those attending this prestigious institution will benefit from having this apartment as their base.
  • Tenants will have an AC unit to help them bear through the hot Madrid summers.
  • This studio is very cosy - you can choose to watch the television either from the large double bed or the ever so comfortable sofa.
  • You will be able to find the washing machine in the bathroom, which also features a small bath.

Things to keep in mind

  • The kitchen lacks an oven, but you'll have everything else to cook a nice meal.
