It’s a gorgeous space with windows that overlook a small and quiet park.

A quiet residential area, the 13th arrondissement is off the traditional tourist routes. The neighborhood still has a lot of sights, though. If you’re enthusiastic about architecture then the entire Rive Gauche district is a slice of heaven, and the National Library François Mitterand will be of particular interest. As for everyday living, you can visit the incredible food market on the Boulevard Blanqui, which is held every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. If you aren’t in the mood to cook, then you might want to head over to the Asian quarter, where you’ll find wonderful range of ethnic restaurants.
